| TXP |
|
The Touchscreen Executive Phone (TXP) is a touchscreen-driven telephone that allows the user access
to all switch resources from a single instrument. This consolidation, when combined with the TXP’s
simplified user interface, eliminates the need for the user to have to remember the particular
operational nuances of multiple communications devices.
The TXP serves as the user interface to Raytheon digital switching systems and is designed to connect
to switches of the Secure Digital Switch (SDS) family via the Quad Telephone Interface (QTI) and to
switches of the Digital Small Switch (DSS) family via the Summing Telephone Interface (STI) or Dual
Narrowband Interface (DNI) with an Octal Universal Digital Loop Transceiver (UDLT) interface
(OUI) daughterboard. The phone also has a ISDN interface, and VOIP capability is in development. The TXP is supported through the multiple subscriber adapters, such as the
Multi-Function Digital Adapter (MDA) or the UDLT Multiplexer-III (UMUX-III). |

| IST-2 |
|
The IST-2 is a 50-line-button desk/wall-mounted telephone instrument that serves as the user interface to Raytheon
digital switching systems. The IST-2 provides the user with a consolidated secure/non-secure communications
device allowing access to all of the switch resources from a single instrument. This eliminates the need
for the user to have to remember particular operational nuances of a communications device.
After manual call setup and activation, the
data port will support up to 57600-baud full-duplex serial data communication (some switch limitations apply). |

| Line Expansion Panels |
| |
| TLE |
|
The Touchscreen Executive Phone (TXP) Line Expansion (TLE) unit is a 50-button
touchscreen panel used in conjunction with a TXP to increase the number of line buttons
available to TXP users. A single TXP will support up to 4 TLEs for a total of 236 line
buttons. The TLE lines will use the same graphical layout and provide the same
functionality as TXP line buttons. |

|
| ILE |
|
The IST-2 Line Expansion (ILE) unit is a 50-button expansion panel used in conjunction
with an IST-2 to increase the number of line buttons available to IST-2 users. A single
IST-2 will support up to 3 ILEs for a total of 200 line buttons. The ILE lines will provide
the same functionality as IST-2 line buttons. |

| MDA Rack 2 Slot |
|
19-inch Rack Mountable assemblies that provide mechanical housing for up to ten MDA units or KIV-7 devices (KIV-7 devices require Telecore’s optional power adapter 2AA-00477-00, one per KIV-7). The MDA Ancillary Racks were designed specifically to provide adequate intake and exhaust air to meet the requirements of the MDA units. The MDA rack units are designed for installation into any standard 19-inch racks that meet RS-410 design requirements. Units are stackable to support from 2 up to 10 units. |
